failing gurus
Sunday, October 22nd, 2006If a person catches my interest or curiosity with her ideas, activities, or properties to an extent that I want to look for more, I enter her arena. Apart from keeping my awareness well awake, I set my world aside and live in hers for the duration of my lesson from her. If I do not do that, I waste some of what she has in store for me.
Once I have learned the lesson I am ready to learn from her at that time, I am thankful to her and come back into my world. Only then may it even be relevant how her world compares to mine.
