taking it seriously and being open-minded
If I am told something, I take it seriously. No matter what the source or content is. In my world, the possibilities and opportunities of the ways of the world are unlimited. This is one of my exercises to keep my mind open. A priori, everything is possible.
Only after further meta info on the source, or consideration or research about the content will I interpret the news as a joke, a hoax, a lie.
